Start with API.

Installation

Choose a desktop package matching your OS and processor on the download page. Windows: extract the ZIP and open SAAY API.exe. macOS: extract the ZIP, move SAAY API.app to Applications and open it. Linux: extract the archive and run the executable inside its folder.

Keep the extracted folder's files together. Desktop bundles include Python; you do not need to install it separately. Preview packages pass automated smoke checks; interactive installation acceptance is still pending. Check the label before downloading.

Your first request

1. Open the app and create or select a workspace and collection.
2. Add a GET request using an endpoint you are authorised to test.
3. Add required headers or authentication, then send.
4. Inspect the response status, headers and body. Save your request.

Environments

Keep values that differ between contexts in environment variables. Select the appropriate environment before sending.

Credentials

Saved secrets are currently not encrypted by the application. Use limited test credentials and protect your device account.
